Andrew Chapman
Andrew Chapman began his career in Stand Up while still in high school. Easily the youngest comedian in the comedy club, Chapman quickly began performing professionally.
Within 2 months of moving to Toronto, Chapman began hosting the television program “Distinguished Artists” for TVO, profiling legendary actors and performers.
His natural charm and childlike wonder of the World led him to entertain countless audiences and thousands of viewers by hosting 5 national weekly Television programs seen on networks as YTV, Discovery,CMT, DISNEY XD, etc. Soon after, Chapman was sought after to lend his comedy chops in his portrayal of legendary Comedian W.C Fields on the hit Murdoch Mysteries (CBC/Netflix)
Along the way, all this has landed Chapman a Canadian Screen Award Nomination, as well as the Canadian Comedy Award Winner for Best Comedy Album – “Oh Yeah This” (available on itunes.)
Andrew has performed all over Canada, on prolific stages such as The National Arts Centre and the Legendary Second City, where he Hosted a 3 night run for Judah Friedlander (30Rock/NBC).
Performing Stand Up is a dream come true for Andrew, and the Tour he is most proud of and considers himself incredibly lucky to do was to entertain the RCAF Troops Kuwait and Lithuania during the Holiday Season. That experience really proved that Laughter IS the Best Medicine.
Chapman can be seen on several commercials and heard on CBC Radio, Canada Laughs and in Comedy Clubs, Theatres, Corporate Stages performing his brand of humour that has been said to be “Clean, Polished and Very Refreshing”.
